Asian Girls Ignite Honored at Denver Nuggets Game for Women's History Month

On March 12, 2025, Asian Girls Ignite (AGI) was recognized at the Denver Nuggets game in Denver, Colorado, in celebration of Women’s History Month—a powerful acknowledgment of our work in empowering Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) girls and gender-expansive youth through educational workshops and programming.

A Moment of Recognition, A Movement for Representation

At AGI, we believe that every young voice is a seed in our Garden of Light, with the power to grow, thrive, and illuminate the world. This recognition from the Denver Nuggets wasn’t just about AGI—it was about the entire AANHPI community in Colorado working to create inclusive spaces where youth feel seen, heard, and valued. We are deeply grateful to the Denver Nuggets for shining a light on our mission and to everyone who supports our work in creating representation and opportunities for AANHPI girls and gender-expansive youth.

Shoutout to Our Incredible Team

A special thank you to Program Coordinator Annabel Kaey and Mentorship Program Coordinator Jihee Yoon, who proudly represented AGI at halftime!

Their leadership continues to shape transformative educational programming that fosters confidence, identity exploration, and community building for AANHPI youth.

Representation matters. Educational access matters. And this is just the beginning.
