Tell us about your business and the products you offer.

We are both moms and have full time jobs, but decided to start another adventure together. We offer permanent bracelets and necklaces.

What inspired you to start your BUSINESS?

We've been best friends for about 15 years. We work together at the same salon, and have similar goals and interests. We always strive to be boss women and role models for our children. We decided to incorporate permanent jewelry because it aligns with the beauty industry that we're in.

How do you personally identify with your AAPI heritage and how does that shape your business and products?

I am a Korean adoptee and I've been blessed to work with Asian owners and I've gotten to know many Asians in the community through work. Growing up around mostly Americans, this has been very healing for me. Jo was raised in an Asian household, and she has many connections in the community. We try to use those connections to bring others together.

What can attendees expect when they visit your booth or experience your offerings at ElevAsian?

We provide beautiful, long lasting jewelry at prices that are affordable for everyone.

What message or advice would you like to share with AAPI girls and gender-expansive youth in middle and high school?

You have a community of women who are here to support you. You're not alone, and we're here to inspire, support, and show you love.

How do you like to celebrate your AAPI identity? You can take this opportunity to share your background/story.

Celebrating that I now have a sense of community and belonging. As a young person, I never would have imagined something like that.

Come meet Christina and check out her jewelry at the ElevAsian Night Market Fundraiser! Get your tickets today!
