Tell us about your business and the products you offer.
I am a printmaker inspired by my personal spirituality and Korean culture.
What inspired you to start your business?
I have always desired to be an artist and create an impact on peoples' lives through visual art.
How do you personally identify with your AAPI heritage and how does that shape your business and products?
My parents are both immigrants from South Korea. Growing up in America with that background brought many challenges I turned into learning experiences and art. Now I create visual art that bridges my Korean American background with my own unique style. Every time someone purchases an original Jini Kimchi they are honoring original, handmade Korean artwork.
What can attendees expect when they visit your booth or experience your offerings at ElevAsian?
For a lack of better words, my artwork has strong Korean, witchy vibes.
What message or advice would you like to share with AAPI girls and gender-expansive youth in middle and high school?
You are phenomenally Asian. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
How do you like to celebrate your AAPI identity? You can take this opportunity to share your background/story.
By being unapologetically myself.
